Larry Golden

Lawrence G. Golden, Executive Vice-President and Director of Research

The research for Sandra Golden & Associates is led by Lawrence Golden, who also brings hands-on experience in a community college setting, as well as research in industry, along with his marketing research expertise. Prof. Golden has conducted research as director of research for Sandra Golden and Associates, as a faculty member with the Community & Technical College of the University of Akron, including an extensive student survey, and as an adjunct researcher with Clark Zimmerman and Associates in Cleveland.

Additionally, Larry has extensive experience with corporate survey work with such companies as S. H. Rubin & Associates, Sacks Electric, Institute for Creative Living, and Revco D. S., Inc. His career highlights include:

• Wharton (University of Pennsylvania) MBA in Marketing
• Professor emeritus with 30 years of teaching advertising, retailing, and marketing at Community & Technical College, University of Akron
• 18 years as coordinator of Marketing & Sales Program
• Over 42 years of consulting experience
• Co-author of Effective Retailing (Houghton-Mifflin:1980, 1986)
• Coordinator of Career Resources Development (marketing activities) for the C&T College for 6 years
• Wrote the college's first marketing plan
• Adjunct consultant for 10 years with Clark Zimmerman & Associates (marketing/marketing research consultant), Cleveland
• Past partner -The QUATRO Group; marketing research consultants
• Presenter at AACC, NCMPR, contributor to NCMPR Counsel, AACC Times
